No previous experience or knowledge is required as full manuals
are provided at all levels.
‘Reiki’ is the Japanese word for ‘universal energy.’
The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei, which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power", and Ki which is "life force energy" Reiki means " Spiritually guided Universal Life Force”.
This healing life force flows from the cosmos through our heart and hands. ​
It was originally developed by Dr Mikao Usui, as a tool for
self development and healing, and part of a spiritual practice that include practising mindfulness and compassion.
Reiki is an ancient system of natural, non-invasive, holistic healing. As
a hands-on healing art, it is used in the West as a complementary therapy treatment. It enhances the body's own innate ability to heal itself and
restore harmony to the body, mind, and spirit.
Reiki treats the whole person, including body, emotions, mind,
and spirit, creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security, and wellbeing. Reiki is a simple, natural, and powerful method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that
everyone can use.
Josephine teaches Reiki in the traditional way
with a number of Attunements.
The ability to learn Reiki is transferred to you the student via Attunements by the Reiki Master during an ‘attunement’ process. This process opens the crown, heart, and palm chakras and creates a special
link between the student and the Reiki source. It allows the student to tap Into an unlimited supply of "life force energy" to improve one's health.
The Reiki attunement is a powerful spiritual experience. The
process is guided by the Rei or God-consciousness and adjusts in the process depending on the needs of each student. The attunement is also attended by Reiki guides and other spiritual beings who help implement the process.
The Reiki Attunement can start a cleansing process that affects the
physical body and the mind, and emotions. Toxins that have been stored in the body may be released along with feelings and thought patterns that are no longer useful. Therefore, a process of purification before attunement is recommended to improve the benefit one receives.
As a spiritual training you will be working with energy and your
Reiki guides.​ Josephine offers Attunements either in small groups or on
a one-to-one basis.
REIKI ATTUNEMENT
The traditional Reiki Rays are taught in three main Levels:
First Degree Level, Second Degree Level, Third Degree Level,
Master Teacher. Via Attunements. An Attunement involves
the process that enables a person to work with Reiki.
In the Temple of Light we offer all these Levels via in person Attunments.
Reiki Attunments are sacred rituals, shared by Reiki Master Teachers, to students who wish to channel healing light.

The Reiki Attunements heighten our awareness of the universal
life force energy. These powerful initiations clears the energy field and helps us remember our True Nature and connection to Source. Through these transmissions of energy, we can embrace the innate healing capabilities that we always had within us but perhaps
weren't aware of.
Furthermore, Josephine courses are more of a healing experience then just your typical course as it includes many other healing services.
Josephine was initiated into the Usui Reiki Healing System in
1998 and Reiki Master Teacher Level in 2002. If you are interested to be attuned by an experienced Reiki Master book to secure your place.
As a Reiki Master Teacher, it is a great honour and responsibility
to share these beautiful ancient healing teachings and techniques with students, knowing that they, too, are learning a healing system that will enhance their own lives in positive and wonderous ways.

USUI FIRST DEGREE LEVEL 1 ATTUNEMENT

Reiki First Degree Training is the first step on the Reiki initiation
journey. Reiki First Degree allows the Reiki to flow through you and this
will start your own personal development and healing journey. It is a remembrance of your true Divine nature.
Reiki 1 as the focus is to receive a gentle energetic clearing, open the
subtle body, and for transformation. It involves two separate Attunements.
With each Attunement received, a deeper energetic clearing is facilitated.
REIKI TRAINING LEVEL 1
Reiki Level 1 Attunment opens up the flow of Reiki energy, and
your Connection to your Reiki guide. Learn to heal yourself using Reiki healing energy.

First Degree Training will include information about
Reiki and its history, and a discussion about the Reiki Principles. You will learn about chakras and their important function in maintaining good health and wellbeing. You will learn about the The human aura and Scanning the Body's Energy field.
​
You will learn and practise various meditation techniques and begin practising Reiki on each other. The day will also involve an explanation and demonstration of the Reiki hand positions to give a full Reiki treatment for self- healing. You will then be split up into pairs to practise on each other. You will receive two separate Attunements during the course of the Reiki First Degree Training.
The day will end with a short meditation, a closing circle, and on completion you will receive your certificate, and your Reiki First Degree Student Manual. After your Reiki course you will need to go
through a 21-day self-healing process.

REIKI TRAININGS LEVEL 1

USUI REIKI SECOND DEGREE ATTUNMENT

Reiki 2nd Degree training is the second step on your Reiki learning journey. Reiki Two is about deepening the self-healing already learned in Reiki One and then to become a Reiki practitioner, and healing others.
This professional qualification will enable you to start a practice of
your own and to obtain practitioner insurance.
​
After a short discussion of the main elements of Reiki 2, you will be introduced to the three Usui symbols. Symbols are sacred shapes that alter the way Reiki can be used and also increase its strength. Though Reiki definitely works quite effectively without the use of symbols. There will be in-depth discussions about the symbols and their mantras and how
they can be used in treatments.

You will learn about scanning the body, beaming Reiki, and
heal to over distant and time using Reiki healing energy. Learn to heal using your intuition and inner guidance.
​
There will be a guided meditation followed by your Reiki 2 attunement.
During a Reiki Two course, there are two Attunements given to the student, along with the sacred Reiki 2 symbols. Students notice how much stronger the Reiki energy feels within them after these Attunements, which will intensify your healing allowing far more Reiki to be channelled
through you.

The day will end with a short meditation and a closing circle.
After the course you will be given a course manual, and you will receive your practitioner certificate. After your Reiki course you will need to go through a 21-day self-healing process.
REIKI LEVEL 2

USUI REIKI THIRD DEGREE &
MASTER PRACTIONER / TEACHER ATTUNEMENT.

During a Reiki Master course, the student receives the
Master Attunements, which further deepen and strengthen the Reiki energy. The Reiki Master symbol is also passed on to the student at this level, which ultimately enables them to attune others to the Reiki
energy, if they wish to become a teacher.
​
Participation at this Level requires that students must have
successfully completed and received certifications for Levels 1 & 2 from a recognised Reiki Master's in-person training.
This is an intensive Three-Day Course. After a short discussion
of Review of levels 1,2 & 3, you will Learn and practice the additional symbols. There will be an Introduction to the additional power symbol and in-depth discussions about the symbols and Learning how to perform
Reiki Attunements for all levels.

You will practice Performing Reiki breath, Send distant Attunements, Practice self-Attunement to promote healing and clarity. This will include the Reiki level 3/4 Master Attunement. The day will end with a short meditation and a closing circle.
​
Once Reiki Master Teacher Certification is complete, you are now
qualified to teach Reiki courses and workshops and to certify Reiki practitioners at various levels.
Upon successful completion of the Reiki Master Teacher Course, you
will receive your Certificate for Reiki Master Practitioner. You will be given a Master Teacher Binder and Master Teacher Manuals for All Levels.
You will receive ongoing Support from me as long as you need. After your Reiki course you will need to go through a 21-day self-healing process

REIKI LEVEL 3
